Bio:

Gurjeet is a mathematician and a computer scientist. He graduated from Stanford University with a PhD in Computational Mathematics. He then started one of the first companies in the machine learning space, Ayasdi, based on his graduate work. Ayasdi went on to raise almost $100m in venture financing from the likes of Vinod Khosa and Kleiner Perkins and became a successful enterprise software firm, with customers such as HSBC, Intermountain, Mt Sinai, J&J etc. He sold Ayasdi last year and is now working on a new company which aims to use Robotics and Machine Learning to automate In-Vitro Fertilization.
