Abstract:

Meet Small Robot Company's monitoring robot Tom and artificial intelligence system Wilma. Tom is now on farms gathering a variety of data - including vision, sensors and geolocation - with sound and soil probes soon to follow. Find out how SRC is turning this into a robotic Per Plant Farming service.

Bio:

Joe is an experienced general technologist, working across both hardware and software projects.

Joe has extensive experience working with geospatial data projects. Previous experience includes working as Head of Ordnance Survey’s TechLabs and CTO of a successful telecoms start-up.

Joe is a hacker of robots, ROS explorer and still stubbornly solving everything with Linux, BASH and sometimes Python.
