In 2015, Marc Mar-Yohana joined UL () as Vice President of Global Program Management. In this role, Marc provides governance, support, and oversight to UL’s portfolio of strategic investments. In addition to his work on UL’s investment, Marc also conducts reviews of new technology use cases for UL. This includes engaging in discussions on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, IoT, and NLP.
Marc’s industry experience includes engineering, manufacturing, operations management, and market strategy. Prior roles include being a member of the operating team at private equity firm Pfingsten Partners, providing global strategic and operational consulting services with NTT DATA, and held both engineering and operations leadership roles with Emerson Electric and Honeywell Aerospace.
Marc is a native of Illinois. His bachelor’s degree is in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Illinois University and MBA is from Arizona State University. He was Adjunct Professor of graduate studies at Saint Xavier University, teaching courses in Global Marketing, Consumer Behavior, and International Business. In his continuing education pursuits, Marc completed an executive leadership program at Yale University as well as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning course-work at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Stanford University.
