Biography

Samantha Reig is a PhD student at Carnegie Mellon University and a NASA Graduate Research Fellow. She holds a B.A. from Cornell University in information science and psychology. Her research in human-computer interaction focuses on situated interactions with interconnected systems, perceptions of robot identity, and personalized experiences with robots and voice agents. Her work uses empirical and design research methods to explore socially complex interactions with AI and what a robot’s form means for the user experience.
